Cold-Drawn Rebar is a type of steel reinforcement bar produced by drawing hot-rolled wire rod through a series of dies at room temperature. This cold-working process increases the tensile strength and yield strength of the steel while reducing its ductility. Due to its higher strength and often smaller diameters, cold-drawn rebar is frequently used for specific applications like stirrups, ties, and spirals in concrete columns and beams, as well as in mesh reinforcement. Its smooth surface (unless specifically deformed after drawing) and precise dimensions make it suitable for prefabrication and applications where accuracy and higher strength in smaller sections are critical
